"an act of unfair and parasitical competition".

The
women, who live in Moselle and work five days a week at EU offices in
Luxembourg, are being taken to court by Transports Schiocchet
Excursions, which runs a service along the route. It wants the women to
be fined and their cars confiscated.

This week there is a focus on the future of Oil. One of the articles that Courrier International has choosen to highlight is an extract of the Long Emergency from James Howard Kunster published in the Rolling Stone (NYC).

It will change everything about how we live.
[...]

We will have to accommodate ourselves to fundamentally changed
conditions.
[...]

If there is any positive side to stark changes coming
our way, it may be in the benefits of close communal relations, of
having to really work intimately (and physically) with our
neighbors, to be part of an enterprise that really matters and to
be fully engaged in meaningful social enactments instead of being
merely entertained to avoid boredom. Years from now, when we hear
singing at all, we will hear ourselves, and we will sing with our
whole hearts.

Well maybe this is an opportunity then...
