Is there an opportunity behind the Oil Crisis ?
Courrier International, is a weekly press review from newspapers all over the world. I love reading this paper, it really gives you an idea of what others thinks, out of France !
This week there is a focus on the future of Oil. One of the articles that Courrier International has choosen to highlight is an extract of the Long Emergency from James Howard Kunster published in the Rolling Stone (NYC).

If there is any positive side to stark changes coming our way, it may be in the benefits of close communal relations, of having to really work intimately (and physically) with our neighbors, to be part of an enterprise that really matters and to be fully engaged in meaningful social enactments instead of being merely entertained to avoid boredom. Years from now, when we hear singing at all, we will hear ourselves, and we will sing with our whole hearts.

je viens de trouver ton blog par cet article, en effet je suis tombé sur le CI en question la semaine passée, et l'article m'a pas mal accroché également.
j'ai vu que le livre de H. Kunster dont était tiré cet article est sorti en France au mois d'octobre >> direction la librairie pour moi! (en ce moment je lis, sur le même sujet, Marée Montante de Mark Lynas, effrayant)
Toutes ces questions sont tellement cruciales, même si autour de moi et de par ma formation je m'y intéresse naturellement, est-ce le cas de tout le monde? on ne prends pas aujourd'hui la mesure, je pense, des boulversements que nous allons subir d'ici quelques années...
